I am unable to learn the commands from my original remote

When it comes to IR learning it refers to learning from other IR remotes. Therefore, the learning function only supports IR-controlled devices, not RF, Bluetooth, or WiFi-controlled devices. If your device can only be controlled by Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, this function is unsuitable.

Paying attention to the Hub’s direction and distance is essential during the learning process. Please keep the remote point the remote vertically at the Hub’s circular icon within 2-5 inches. If a long press of the remote control button cannot be recognized, try pressing and releasing it.

Note: Suppose a learned command is recognized as multiple operations. You can relearn the command by pressing and releasing immediately so the learned signal will be shorter to avoid being recognized by a long press or double click.
