Why can’t SofaBaton find my Roku device during setup?

To successfully add your Roku device via Wi-Fi, first enable mobile control in your Roku settings by going to Settings > System > Advanced Settings > Control by mobile apps > Network Access and set it to ‘Enabled’.

Then verify that:

(1) Your Roku works with the official Roku app

(2) Your Roku device, phone with our app, and our Hub are all connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. If the device still isn’t found, try restarting both your Roku and router.
